Hello all !!!
I'm what ppl call a computer geek, so before even going to look at the bike I've gone online and looked all over when I stumbled into this page. I was originally looking to buy a Virago, but after reading the postings, I really wanted a Savage.
I'm mechanically inclined, but new to the bike scene.
While I was taking it home it leaked oil all over the cylinder, I think U guys call it the infamous gasket leak. It leaked soo much that my left leg was soaked with oil. I'm hoping that the guy just overfilled it.
The guy I bought it from only knew how to ride, no mechanical experience whatsoever. Therefore I'm assuming the bike needs a full tune up.
I will look more into it.
Will take it to the mechanic real soon.
I'm hoping to talk to U all here and maybe meet up sometime... I have done many road trips (NY~LA) on car and want to get started on bike.
